The SN6505 is a push-pull transformer driver with a tiny form factor that is designed for isolated DC/DC converters. The device's gate-drive circuit is fed by an oscillator. Two complimentary output signals produced by the gate drive, which is made up of a frequency divider and break-before-make (BBM) logic, alternately turn the two output transistors on and off.
