L298N Description

The L298NN is a 15-lead Multiwatt and PowerSO20 monolithic integrated circuit. This driver is powerful and can handle high voltage and current. It can work with TTL logic levels and can drive inductive loads such as motors, relays, and solenoids.

There are two enable inputs to enable or disable the device independently of the input signals. The emitters of each bridge's bottom transistors are connected together, and the matching external terminal can be used to connect an external sensing resistor. A second supply input is supplied so that the logic can operate at a lower voltage.
