MPC565MVR56 is a member of the MPC565 family of microprocessors developed by NXP Semiconductors / Freescale. It is designed utilizing the Power Architecture? instruction standard architecture. It combines a floating point unit, an advanced peripheral set, with 1 MB of flash memory on a single chip. Its specific characteristics make it well-suited for high-performance automotive applications as well as other control-intensive applications.
