In these devices, a M68HC11 central processor unit is combined with on-chip peripherals of high performance. It is able to operate at frequencies from 3 MHz to dc with extremely low power consumption based on a fully static design and HCMOS (high-density complementary metal-oxide semiconductor) fabrication process.
